Route 30. Vineyards of Bargota

We begin the circular route from the Granero sports park in Bargota. We head south following the green ring until we approach the El Pozo area. Here we have the option to take a detour and climb a short stretch of path to visit an old stone hut. We continue the itinerary through cultivated areas and vineyards; further on, there is the opportunity to detour to see a prehistoric wine press.

We then meet the Way of St James and follow it in the opposite direction, towards Torres del Río, passing by several stone huts. We cross the NA-7206 road and reach the Arbanta irrigation area, where we can stop to visit the old reservoir and dam belonging to this irrigation system.

We continue along the Way of St James until we finally head north to return to Bargota. Before reaching the El Pozo area again, we can turn off to the right to visit one last hut with a panoramic view over the vineyards. Finally, we return to the village of Bargota to finish the route.
