Route 35. Water in the Guesalaz Valley

We start the circular route at the Guesálaz sports centre in Muez and head towards the village of Esténoz. Running parallel to the waters of the reservoir, we pass near the village of Muzqui and then, after a long stretch, reach Irurre, where we find a cistern. In this village we change direction and head north along paths to reach the village of Garisoain. We continue in the same direction and, after leaving the urban area, pass by the old washhouse.

We continue along the path to come across the village of Muzqui again and its small washhouse. We carry on towards Arzoz, but just before reaching it, a small detour takes us to visit its washhouse. Later, after a few more kilometres to the north, we reach the village of Viguria, where the Palace of the Marquis of Montehermoso stands. Finally, we head towards Muez and, after crossing the River Salado, make our way to the starting point.
