Route 7. Santa Soloma

We start the circular route from the local health centre in Mendaza and head towards the upper part of the village. After passing the church, we take the path that continues uphill. After a short climb, we reach a junction with three options. The first, and closest, takes us to admire the Three-Legged Holm Oak Natural Monument. The second, continuing along the path, leads us to the panoramic high point of Santa Coloma, crowned by the hermitage of the same name, from where we can contemplate the valley of La Berrueza.

Taking the third option, we continue around the high point of Santa Coloma, first along a wide path with a gentle climb and then along a footpath, changing direction as we descend. Finally, we return along a path to the village of Mendaza.
